Registrar Lock in Hosting
With a Linux hosting package from our company, you will exert total command over your domains through our custom Hepsia Control Panel. You will be able to do anything you’d like, including locking & unlocking any of the domains registered here, provided that the particular gTLD or ccTLD extension supports this option. Clicking on the padlock sign that you will see next to any domain registered in your Control Panel will show you its present status and clicking on it once again will allow you to modify that status. If you would like to transfer a domain name to another registrar company, you can initiate the process straight away. Since unlocking a domain name through your Control Panel will take effect momentarily, no propagation interval or any action on our end will be needed. Locking a domain name is just as easy – you’ll just need to follow the very same steps.
Registrar Lock in Semi-dedicated Hosting
If you would like to transfer a domain from our company to another registrar and you have a semi-dedicated server account, you will be able to get the domain name ready with just a few mouse clicks. All your domain name registrations will be listed in a separate section of the Hepsia Control Panel – the exact same tool via which you’ll administer your hosting account. If a given gTLD or ccTLD supports the registrar lock option, you will see a padlock icon. You can find out if the domain is locked or not by clicking on that icon once and you can update the status by clicking once again. This is all it takes and there will be nothing else that you or we will have to do, so you can proceed with the domain name transfer procedure straight away. The change will take effect instantaneously, so you will not need to wait for the status to change on WHOIS lookup websites.
