A catch-all mailbox is one that gathers all the messages sent to non-existent email addresses. For example, if your email address is info@domain.com, but someone miswrites it and sends an email message to inof@domain.com, it will still be received in the catch-all mailbox that you have created. Only one single mailbox per domain name can have this feature activated and thus you will never miss messages because the other side has an obsolete address or has made a mistake. The negative aspect of using a catch-all mailbox is that you may begin receiving a lot of junk email messages, but this problem can be resolved using an anti-spam filtering solution. It’s also crucial to keep in mind that a mailbox with an enabled catch-all feature cannot redirect inbound messages to a third-party address.

Catch-all Emails in Hosting

You will be able to create a catch-all e-mailbox easily in case you’ve got a hosting account with our company. The Email Manager tool in our custom-built Hepsia Control Panel is feature-rich, yet extremely intuitive, and it will enable you to enable different options, including the catch-all one, with only several clicks of the mouse. All the mailboxes that you’ve set up will be enumerated in alphabetical order in this section and on the right side of each of them you will see a small "Catch-all" symbol. Clicking it once will activate the feature, clicking on it again will deactivate it. As you can have just one such catch-all mailbox per domain, our system will notify you if you’ve already got another one with this feature activated or if you’ve got activated email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

You’ll be able to configure a catch-all email address with no more than a click in case you have a Linux semi-dedicated hosting package with us and your emails are handled by our cloud web hosting platform. All the email addresses that you set up using any domain name hosted in the semi-dedicated account will be shown in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel. Each of them will have a small-size "Catch-all" icon next to it, so all it will take to activate this functionality will be to click on that icon. In the same way you’ll be able to remove the feature, in case you don’t need it any longer. Our system will inform you if you’re attempting to activate a second catch-all mailbox for a particular domain or in case there is activated email forwarding, but it’ll never disable or modify any feature automatically and without your permission.
